Returns & Exchanges

We offer 35-day returns on eligible items: request a Return Authorization (RA#) within 35 days of delivery, and your return must reach us within 21 days after the RA# is issued.

Items must be unused, in new condition, and in original packaging with all accessories. For non-defective returns you pay return shipping; original shipping charges are not refunded, and if your order shipped free our actual outbound shipping cost is deducted from the refund. Part 440014838 is a 3.0-liter dirt cup for Hoover MaxLife bagless uprights. It is the container that collects debris the machine pulls off the floor before you empty it.

A cracked or warped dirt cup stops a bagless system from doing the one thing it is built for, which is holding debris cleanly until you empty it, and a hairline crack can leak fine dust well before the crack itself is easy to see. Rinsing the cup with warm water after each empty and checking the seams and rim for damage catches that early.

This dirt cup is confirmed for the eight UH75xxx models listed above. Check your machine's exact suffix on the data plate before ordering, since Hoover sold several closely related UH75xxx uprights that are not all confirmed to share this cup. If a new cup seats but still feels loose, recheck the exact suffix before assuming the part itself is faulty, since a near-miss model number is the more common explanation.
