This replacement front wheel axle nut fits Hoover Convertible uprights, including models 60, 61, 62, 63, 64, 90, 91, 913, 918, and 7037. The nut threads onto the front axle to hold the wheel in place and set its running position on the shaft.
A missing or stripped axle nut lets the front wheel work loose, wobble, or come off the axle, which makes the machine hard to steer and can drop the nozzle out of level. Fitting the correct nut secures the wheel and restores steady, level rolling.
