This replacement stretch belt (also #440012733) fits the Hoover PowerDash Pet Compact carpet cleaner, including the FH50700, FH50702, FH50703I, and FH50710. The belt keeps the brush roll spinning as the machine works.
A worn or over-stretched belt slows or stops the brush roll, so agitation and cleaning fall off. A fresh belt restores full brush roll speed and the scrubbing action the cleaner depends on. Fitting a fresh belt while the brush roll is exposed is also a good moment to clear tangled hair from the roller.
