The rear valve base seal (Part #93001417) is a replacement seal for the Hoover Duo carpet cleaner, fitting models F5505 and F5520. It sits at the rear valve base and keeps cleaning solution from dripping where it should not.
Over time the rubber degrades and the seal starts to leak, letting water escape from the back of the machine and pool on the floor you are trying to clean. A fresh seal stops the drip and returns the carpet cleaner to proper, leak-free operation.
