Same CU2 collar as the standard HushTone bag, finer media: part AH10243 is Hoover's allergen-filtration CU2 bag, ten per pack, for the HushTone commercial uprights CH54013, CH54015, CH54113 and CH54115.

Allergen bags earn their place where the dust is fine and the room is occupied — schools, medical offices, anywhere carpets hold plaster dust or dander. The media traps particles a standard bag passes on to the filters, which shows up twice: less dust in the exhaust air, and a post-motor filter that stays serviceable for longer.

They cost a little more per bag, so the trick is not to waste them. Swap at around two-thirds full; past that point the bag is throttling airflow and the machine is working hard for less pickup. Ten in a pack covers a typical route for a while. Confirm the CH number on the machine before ordering.
