The Hoover cord wrap is a replacement hook for the U6445 upright and also fits model C3820. Mounted on the back of the handle, it holds the wound power cord in place for tidy storage between uses.
A cord wrap that has snapped or lost its upper hook lets the cord slip loose and trail on the floor, where it can be run over or damaged. Fitting a fresh wrap restores a secure place to wind the cord so it stays coiled and out of the way.
