The Hoover Concept upright tension spring, part 160095AY, is the replacement spring that keeps the drive belt properly tensioned on Hoover Concept upright vacuums. When the original spring stretches or snaps, the belt slips, the brush roll slows, and carpet agitation falls off noticeably. If your Concept still runs but leaves lint and surface litter behind on carpet, worn belt tension is one of the first things worth checking.
