This replacement upper collar (part #430001002) fits the Oreck U7000ECB upright and the Hoover CH95519. The collar forms the structural connection between the handle and the body of the machine, anchoring the handle where it meets the vacuum.
The upper collar bears leverage every time you push, pull, and recline the vacuum, so it eventually cracks or splits. A broken collar lets the handle wobble, shift, or separate from the body, making the machine hard to control. A new collar restores a solid handle mount and proper range of motion.
