This genuine OEM Hoover bottom plate for the 13-inch Insight (Part #440002413) fits the Hoover CH50100 and CH50102. The plate covers the underside of the cleaning head, setting brush-roll clearance and maintaining the machine's structural integrity at the floor.
A cracked or warped bottom plate throws off brush clearance and opens gaps that let debris escape and suction drop at the nozzle. Replacing it with a factory-spec plate restores proper clearance and a tight, effective floor seal.
