This axle bag flange retainer for newer Hoover models fits machine C1065 and locks the dust bag flange onto the base axle so the bag port stays sealed while the vacuum runs. It holds the bag firmly in its operating position.
A worn or broken retainer lets the flange work loose, and the bag can pop off the port mid-clean, spilling dust and breaking the seal. A fresh retainer secures the flange again and keeps the bag port sealed during operation.
