This replacement HEPA filter fits the Bissell 3418 SurfaceSense and related uprights. As air moves through the pleated media, the filter captures fine dust and allergens, keeping the exhaust clean and protecting the motor from fine debris.
A HEPA filter clogged with trapped dust chokes airflow, so the motor works harder and suction weakens. Neglected long enough, the added strain shortens motor life and can send a dusty odor through the exhaust. A clean filter restores full airflow and filtration.
