Handle Grip - Beam Electric Central Vacuum Hose

This is the handle grip for a Beam electric central vacuum hose, part 170180, fitting the Beam 1309. It is the molded section you actually hold, wrapping the point where the hose meets the wand and enclosing the wiring that runs through to the power nozzle.

Grips crack. They take every drop, every knock against a stair nose and the twisting load of steering a wand one-handed, and once the shell splits the halves work loose, rattle, and can pull on the wire terminals underneath. A loose grip is often the real cause of a power nozzle that flickers when you change your hold.

With the grip apart it is worth checking the wiring and terminals before closing the new one up. Confirm your hose is the Beam 1309 electric style, since the grip is shaped to that hose body.
