This Hammerhead replacement bristle refill (Part #32-1037-07) restores the Fur-Eel bristles in the Hammerhead pet hair tool (Part #32-1036-08). The refill drops into the existing tool body, so you renew the working surface instead of buying a whole new tool. Fresh bristles are what let the tool grip and rake embedded pet hair.
Over time the Fur-Eel bristles wear down and lose their ability to lift hair from upholstery and fabric, and pickup falls off as a result. Once furniture stops coming clean the way it used to, the bristles are due for a swap. This insert brings the tool back to full performance at a fraction of the cost of replacing it.
