Part HD130GPR02 is the gas pump style handle Plastiflex uses on its 30 foot central vacuum hoses, supplied in light gray with a metal button lock, and the screw for its stub tube comes with it. It is the grip on its own, sold without a switch and without a female receiver, so nothing electrical arrives in the box.
The handle carries a button lock and an air bleeder. The bleeder opens a small vent at the grip so suction can be eased off a curtain or a light rug without walking back to the inlet, and the button lock is what holds the wand once it is seated in the handle.
Grips fail where hands hold them. Cracks open at the seam or where the grip meets the hose body, and once the shell splits, air enters at that joint and the tool end loses pull even with a clear hose behind it. A grip that has gone loose on the hose rather than cracked outright is the same joint beginning to give way.
This is a replacement for Plastiflex hoses, and the switch kit for an electric conversion is a separate purchase. Keep the old switch and receiver until the new grip is seated and holding vacuum properly. Compare the stub tube on your hose against the screw supplied here before fitting, since that joint is what the grip depends on to stay put.
