This replacement geared brush roll fits the Beam and Eureka CV280 Advocate power nozzle, model 3413. Its integrated gear takes drive from the nozzle motor and spins the roll to agitate carpet fibers and free embedded dirt.
Worn or flattened bristles stop making firm contact with the carpet, and deep-cleaning falls off well before the roll looks spent. Damaged gear teeth can also cause slipping or noise. A fresh geared roll restores steady, full-speed agitation.
