This genuine Rainbow geared belt (Part #R-13284B, R-13284) drives the brush roll on the AquaMate carpet cleaning attachment, fitting the AM-12 and AM-23 AquaMate III and IV models. The toothed belt transfers power from the motor to the brush roll so it agitates the carpet during extraction.

A worn or stretched geared belt slips or snaps, and once the brush roll slows or stops it leaves dirt embedded in the carpet. A burning rubber smell or a brush roll that drags are the usual warnings. A fresh belt restores full, positive drive to the brush.
