This replacement geared belt fits the Bissell 2920 and 3409 uprights and model 312SW, driving the brush roll at the proper speed for effective carpet cleaning. The geared design keeps the brush turning in step with the motor rather than slipping under load.
Belts stretch and wear with normal use, and a worn or broken one lets the brush roll slow or stop, which cuts pickup at the floor and leaves dirt behind. Fitting a fresh belt restores full brush speed and proper agitation.
