The Fuller Brush main power switch (part FBMM1T) is an OEM replacement for the Mighty Maid upright and other similar Fuller Brush models. It carries the line power that turns the motor on and off, sitting inline between the cord and the motor circuit.
A switch that will not start the vacuum, or that cuts out at random during use, is usually worn internally at the contacts. Repeated on-off cycling eventually pits or loosens those contacts. Dropping in a fresh switch restores reliable, positive power control.
