This genuine clutch rubber pad provides the friction surface for the brush-roll clutch on the Fuller Brush FBMM-PWCF4, Titan T4000 and T4000.2, Simplicity 7300, 7350, and 7850, and Riccar 8750, 8925, and 8955 uprights. The pad grips within the clutch to transfer drive to the brush roll.
As the rubber pad wears smooth or hardens, the clutch begins to slip, so the brush roll turns weakly or inconsistently and carpet pickup drops. The pad is a wear item at the heart of the drive. A fresh pad restores firm, positive clutch engagement.
