SEBO Front Bottom Plate for AUTOMATIC X7 Premium and X7 Pet

Underneath an AUTOMATIC X7 power head, the front bottom plate is the surface that actually rides the carpet and frames the leading edge of the brush roll opening. Part 50404GSER replaces that plate on the SEBO AUTOMATIC X7 Premium and the AUTOMATIC X7 Pet, and it is a wear item in the truest sense — it is the only part of the machine in permanent contact with the floor.

Years of that contact leave the plate scored, and grit that works under the leading edge can crack it outright. A plate in that condition stops holding the nozzle at its designed height, so the head loses its seal against the carpet. Air is drawn in around the damage instead of through the pile, pickup falls off across the width of the head, and a roughened plate edge starts leaving marks on bare flooring. It is a slow failure that owners tend to blame on the motor or a full bag, which is why the underside is worth turning over before anything else is replaced. A new plate resets the working height and puts the airflow back where it does the cleaning.
