This replacement Shark foam filter (Part #F689, replacing #XFF600) fits the Shark Rotator Lift-Away models NV600, NV601, NV611, NV770, NV771, and UV700. It sits ahead of the motor, trapping fine dust before it reaches the internals.
Foam filters compress and tear over months of use, and a flattened one lets grit through while suction fades. When the foam no longer springs back after a rinse, the Rotator loses pull and the motor loses its guard. A fresh pair restores both.
