SEBO Front Foam Seal for C ...

Product details
Not every leak is dramatic. A flattened strip of foam at the front of a C-series canister will quietly cost you suction for months before anyone thinks to look. Part 6213 is that strip, a soft gasket filling a joint at the front of the housing so air follows the filtration path rather than sneaking around it. It is listed for the C1.1, the C2.1 and the C3.1.
Foam ages badly inside a warm machine. It compresses, crumbles at the edges, and stops springing back, leaving a gap no wider than a business card that is still enough to matter. Press a fingertip along the old strip before you order: foam that stays dented instead of rising back has finished its working life. Clear the residue from the channel before pressing the new piece in, and make sure it lies flat along its whole length so there is no proud section holding the joint open elsewhere.

Three foam seals are listed for these canisters and they sit in different places, so read the number carefully. This is the front one. The rear strip is 6120/3 and the small piece behind the release button is 6128. All three fit the C1.1, C2.1 and C3.1, all three are minor items, and fitting the set while the machine is apart saves a second strip-down. The moulded gaskets are separate again: 6186 seals the panel over the motor and reel to the bottom casing, 6306 seals the motor cover, and 6187 seals the bag cover door. People reach this listing searching for a SEBO foam seal, a C series front gasket, or a genuine SEBO air leak repair strip for a canister vacuum.
