This replacement foam filter serves Bissell PowerForce Helix Turbo vacuums and fits models 68C71, 2140, 68C7, 68C7C, 68C7R, 68C7S, 68C7U, 68C7V, 68C7W, 68C7X, 68C7Y, 68C7Z, and 68C77. The foam sits in the filtration path to trap dust and particles before they reach the motor.
Over months of use the foam loads with fine dust, which chokes airflow, weakens suction, and forces the motor to work harder against the restriction. Rinsing helps, but a clogged or breaking-down filter should be replaced to restore full airflow and keep the motor protected.
