Product details

A small clear window plumbed into the solution line lets an operator confirm a Bissell ProHeat 2X is actually pushing cleaning solution out as it sprays, and part 2036969 is the replacement for that window, called the flow indicator assembly. It fits the 9500 ProHeat 2X along with the related 66Q4, 66Q42 and 73A5.

A pair of failures typically shows up here. Hard-water scale builds up on the inside of the window until visibility through it disappears entirely, taking away the fastest check available for pump output. Or the housing splits open at one of its barb fittings and solution starts leaking into the machine instead of traveling out through the hose where it belongs.

A quick look at this window when spray output goes weak tells an operator in seconds whether the trouble sits before the pump or further along toward the spray tips, without opening the machine up to find out.

Swapping in a whole new assembly beats trying to scrub scale out of the old one, buildup heavy enough to cloud the window has usually narrowed the barb fittings too, and a housing that has already split once tends to split again under the same working pressure before long.
