PowerMate Base Plate - Kenmore Canister Power Head

This PowerMate Base Plate for Kenmore canister power heads is the replacement bottom plate that protects the underside of the power nozzle and encloses its motor and agitator brush. A base plate that is cracked, warped, or no longer sealing lets suction bleed off before it reaches the carpet, so dirt pickup suffers even though the motor sounds perfectly healthy.

This version includes a manual reset button, matching the original equipment on the models it fits. Installing a sound plate restores a tight cleaning path and directs all suction through the nozzle where it belongs.
