The Power Head Base Plate with auto reset for Kenmore canister vacuums replaces the protective bottom plate on your power nozzle. This plate carries real responsibility: it supports the motor and agitator brush assembly and keeps the brush roll seated correctly for consistent contact with the carpet.
Cracks, warping, or broken mounting tabs prevent the brush roll from operating properly, and once that happens a new plate is the fix rather than another round of tape or glue. The auto reset feature on this version matches the original equipment on the models listed below, so function stays exactly as designed.
