Designed for the Oreck U8000 lightweight upright, this flat replacement belt connects the motor pulley to the brush roll. That link keeps the roller spinning so it can agitate carpet and drive debris toward the suction inlet.
With regular use a belt gradually stretches and its grip fades, letting the brush roll turn slower than it should. Carpet fibers then go unworked and pickup falls off. Swapping in a fresh belt returns the roller to full speed and brings back proper carpet agitation.
