This flat replacement belt fits the Oreck U8000 lightweight upright vacuum. The belt links the motor to the brush roll, spinning the roller that agitates carpet and sweeps debris toward the suction inlet.
Belts stretch and lose tension with every hour of use, and a loose belt lets the brush roll slow down so carpet fibers are no longer worked properly. A fresh belt restores full roller speed and the agitation your carpets need. Replace it if you notice weaker pickup or a rubber smell.
