Sized for the Dyson DC39 canister line, this replacement pre-filter assembly (Part #F627) fits the Dyson DC39, DC39C, DC37C, DC33C, and DC28C. It guards the motor by trapping dust that carries past the first filtration stage inside the bagless canister.

As a pre-filter fills with fine debris, airflow through the machine drops and the motor runs hotter to compensate. You notice fading suction and a warmer exhaust. Swapping in a clean assembly restores the intake the canister was engineered around.
