This replacement filter nut fits the ProTeam ProGuard and secures the filter in place inside the vacuum. The nut clamps the filter to its mount so it seats correctly and seals against the airflow path.
A missing or damaged filter nut lets the filter shift or loosen, which breaks the seal and lets dust bypass the media. Fitting a fresh nut holds the filter firmly seated so it filters as intended.
