This replacement Shark HEPA filter (Part #F681, replacing #XHEP580) fits the Shark NV581, 581Q, and 586. It is the final filtration stage that cleans the air the machine returns to the room.

A clogged HEPA filter restricts airflow and lets fine dust and allergens escape through the exhaust rather than staying trapped. Suction weakens and the exhaust smells dusty. This element captures 99.97% of particles down to 0.3 microns, so a fresh one restores clean air and full pull.
