F674 is the HEPA filter for the Shark Rotator XL Professional NV450, the equivalent of Shark's XHF450 and XFF450 parts.
One thing to settle before you order: this filter does not fit the NV480. The two machines look close enough that people order the wrong one, and the NV480 takes a different filter entirely.
On the NV450 the HEPA element is the last stage before air returns to the room. A saturated one restricts airflow, so the machine loses suction at the floor head, and the finest dust it used to hold starts coming back out of the exhaust, which is the part allergy sufferers notice first. Lift the old filter out of its bay and set the replacement in the same orientation. No tools needed.
