Part F672 is the HEPA filter for Shark's IONFlex IF100 and 200 series cordless stick vacuums, cross-referenced to Shark's own XPREMF100 and XPSTMF100 numbers and also listed against the F80.
This filter is the final stage before air leaves a cordless stick vacuum's small motor housing, and on a battery-powered machine a clogged filter costs you twice: the motor draws harder against the restriction, which shortens runtime on a charge, and fine dust that should stay trapped starts drifting back out with the exhaust. Both symptoms tend to show up together rather than one before the other, which makes a loaded filter easy to mistake for a battery that is simply getting old.
Because IONFlex machines are built to be lightweight, their filtration stages are compact, so this filter loads faster relative to its size than the equivalent part on a full-size upright. Checking it whenever you empty the dust cup, rather than on a separate schedule, keeps it from becoming the hidden reason a machine feels weaker than it used to.
