Shark ION and IQ Robot HEPA...

Product details

Part F686 is a replacement HEPA filter for Shark ION and IQ robot vacuums, cross-referenced to the OEM part RVFFK950. Every pass the robot makes pulls air through this filter last, right before that air is released back into the room.

Because a robot vacuum runs on a set schedule rather than only when someone picks it up, its filter tends to load with dust faster than an owner expects from the calendar alone. A filter that has filled restricts airflow through the machine's small motor and, once it is saturated, can let dust and pet dander pass through instead of trapping them.

  • Fits: Shark ION robot vacuums, Shark IQ robot vacuums, cross-referenced to OEM part RVFFK950
  • Function: HEPA exhaust filtration
  • Tip: build filter checks into the same routine as emptying the dustbin, since a scheduled robot loads its filter faster than a machine you push by hand
  • Sign to watch: a faintly dusty smell right after a cleaning cycle usually means the filter has loaded up, even before you notice any change in pickup

It goes back into the dust bin the same way the filter you take out came free. Confirm whether your robot is an ION or an IQ model before ordering, and keep the old filter until the replacement is confirmed to fit.
