Product details

The Hoover Linx stick vacuum keeps a washable foam filter ahead of its motor, and F247 replaces it in the BH50010 and the SH20030.

On a machine this small a clogged foam filter shows up fast. Runtime feels shorter, the motor note climbs, and debris gets pushed around rather than picked up, because the vacuum is fighting for air. A torn or permanently compressed filter fails the other way, letting fine dust through to a motor that has no second line of defense.

Rinse the foam in warm water about once a month, squeeze it out gently, and let it dry all the way through before it goes back in the slot. Once it stays discolored after washing, or will not return to its original thickness, fit a new one.
