Part AD40105 replaces the F105 filter in Dirt Devil's Quick Flip cordless hand vacuum line, an 8-volt hand vac built around the BD30010 body and its variants.
The Quick Flip is a compact, battery-powered unit, and its filter does double duty catching debris and protecting the small motor from fine dust. Once the element loses its ability to pass air, runtime on a charge feels shorter because the motor is working against restriction rather than moving air freely, and pickup at the nozzle weakens even with a full battery. On a cordless unit this matters more than on a corded machine, since a strained motor drains the battery faster on top of cleaning less effectively.
