This compatible replacement direct-air fan (Part #B386-1700) restores suction on the Riccar 1700 and matching Riccar and Simplicity direct-air uprights. The fan spins with the motor to move the air that lifts dirt from the floor into the bag.
Because a direct-air fan handles the debris stream, its blades chip, crack, or warp over time. A damaged fan loses suction sharply and can set up a vibration that stresses the motor bearings. A balanced replacement returns full airflow and smooth running.
