This replacement exhaust filter (Part #KC38KEDCZVU0, also sold as #561015136) fits Kenmore models 10135510, 116, and 30604510C. The filter cleans the air on its way out of the vacuum, trapping dust to keep the exhaust clear and suction steady.
When the filter clogs, airflow drops and suction falls off while dirtier air leaves the machine. Replacing it returns airflow and cleaning power to normal.
