Running the length of the Eureka 16-inch VG-1 brushroll, this replacement shaft (Part #36517) is the internal drive rod for the assembly and fits the Sanitaire SC899G. It transfers motor power evenly across the full brush width.
A bent or damaged shaft makes the brushroll wobble or bind, which produces uneven agitation and added strain on the bearings and belt. A straight, sound shaft returns balanced rotation and even cleaning across the head.
