This rear axle fits Eureka and Sanitaire Quick Kleen Series upright vacuums, model C2094D, supporting the rear wheel assembly that carries the machine's weight through every cleaning session. Axles rarely get attention until the day the vacuum stops rolling straight.
A bent or broken rear axle produces symptoms you can feel immediately. Wheel drag, a vacuum that fights you on the pull-back stroke, and uneven wear on the wheels themselves all point to the axle rather than the wheels. On a machine used hard, the axle is often the first chassis part to give out.
