This replacement Eureka handle socket pin fits Eureka and Sanitaire upright vacuums, including model C4046B. The pin locks the handle socket assembly together and lets the handle tilt back and forth under control.
A pin that bends, shears, or falls out leaves the handle loose, so it wobbles or will not hold its tilt position during use. A new pin restores a tight pivot and keeps the socket assembly properly joined so the machine steers the way it should.
