These BV-3 style paper bags are the standard filter bag for Sanitaire and Eureka backpack vacuums, five to a pack, listed as part 62135. Backpack machines pull the bag through a hose from the unit worn on the back, so the bag does both dust collection and primary filtration in one step rather than relying on a separate filter for fine dust.
Because a backpack vacuum runs for extended stretches without a break, its bag tends to fill and clog faster in practical use than an upright doing the same square footage in shorter bursts. Weight on the operator's back also makes a struggling motor more noticeable, so a bag that needs changing often shows up as extra strain felt through the harness before it shows up as visibly reduced pickup at the tool.
Change the bag once it is around two-thirds full rather than waiting for it to feel packed solid, since airflow drops well before that point and the operator ends up compensating with slower, more deliberate passes to make up for the weaker suction.
Keep a few spare bags in the equipment bag or on the cart, since running out mid-route on a commercial job means either finishing with reduced suction or stopping to restock.
