This OEM motor housing (Part #37193009) fits the Eureka and Sanitaire SC580A upright. The housing encloses and protects the motor assembly while maintaining the airflow channels that cool it during use.
A cracked housing disrupts those channels and can let dust reach the motor, which accelerates wear and can cause gradual suction loss. A structurally sound housing restores proper cooling and keeps the motor sealed away from debris.
