This replacement filter fits the Eureka Mighty Mite II and III canister vacuums, and the 3631A, trapping fine dust before it reaches the motor. Seated in the airflow path ahead of the motor, it screens out the particulate that would otherwise settle on the windings and bearings.
A clogged filter chokes airflow and drops suction, and a torn or missing one lets grit pass straight into the motor where it causes real damage. A fresh filter restores full draw and keeps the motor protected from abrasive dust.
