This gray Eureka furniture guard fits the Eureka 1934 and Sanitaire SC679 upright vacuums and is also compatible with the SL635B. It wraps the nozzle housing in a cushioned edge, so contact with baseboards, table legs, and cabinet faces ends in a soft bump rather than a scratch.
Uprights work close to walls and furniture by design, and the guard is the part meant to absorb that contact. When it goes missing or wears through, the hard nozzle housing starts leaving scuffs on painted trim and marks on wood, damage that accumulates one pass at a time.
