This replacement foam insert filter fits Eureka DCF-8 and DCF-15 filter assemblies used on the 5890 and 5900 series uprights, including the Genesis II 5902. The foam insert sits within the filter housing to catch fine debris and protect the media behind it.

A compressed, discolored, or worn foam insert restricts airflow and filters poorly, so suction suffers. Rinsing it monthly extends its life, but a spent insert should be replaced to restore full airflow.

  • Fits: Eureka 5890 Series and 5900 Series
  • Part: DCF-8 / DCF-15 foam insert
  • Note: the foam is no longer sold separately; the complete HEPA assembly is part 62733-4
  • Tip: rinse monthly and replace every six to nine months
