This cord protector (part 36097355N) fits Eureka 1400 series vacuums, model S645A, and also works on Shark machines. The sleeve wraps the power cord where it exits the machine body, reinforcing the cable at the point where it flexes most.
Right at the strain relief, repeated bending cracks the cord jacket and can eventually expose the wires, creating a shock hazard and intermittent power. A fresh protector adds back that reinforcement, spreading the flex over the sleeve so the insulation stays intact and the cord lasts longer.
