The Eureka Commercial Upright Strain Relief Spring is an OEM cord protector that guards the power cord where it enters the vacuum body. That entry point takes more abuse than any other section of the cord, especially on commercial machines that get wrapped, unwrapped, and moved across large floors every day.
When the strain relief wears out, the cord flexes sharply against the housing and the internal wires begin to break down, which creates both reliability problems and a potential electrical hazard. Replacing the spring is a quick job that prevents the far more involved repair of a damaged cord.
This spring fits Eureka and Sanitaire commercial uprights including the 1950A, C2094B, C2094G, C2094G1, C2094G2, C2094G3, C2094GW, and C2094H, along with other similar models from both brands.
