The Eureka Clamp Bellow for the Sanitaire 887 upright vacuum secures the flexible bellows seal between the dirt cup and the vacuum body. It is a small part with an outsized effect on performance, since the bellows connection carries the full airflow of the machine.
When this clamp loosens or breaks, the bellows can shift and let air leak past the seal, and suction drops noticeably at the nozzle. If your Sanitaire upright has lost cleaning power and the bag and filter check out, the bellows connection is one of the first places worth inspecting.
