This Sanitaire hood assembly for the SC5713A commercial upright is a genuine OEM replacement shell that restores the structural integrity of a hard-working Sanitaire vacuum. The hood protects the motor and internal components and keeps airflow routed correctly, so a cracked or damaged hood is more than a cosmetic problem. Once the shell is compromised, dust and debris reach parts that were never meant to be exposed.
Because it is manufactured to original specifications, this assembly installs as a direct, no-modification fit. It replaces part numbers 62412-3 and 62412-1.
